14-megapixel cameraphone Altek Leo presented at the summer CommunicAsia 2010, as it turns out to be sold not only in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The first smartphone with an optical zoom lens camera will also appear on the European market, and it will happen in the first quarter of the approaching 2011, according to Androidauthority referring to the producer's official press release.
Price though is not declared, but I can try anything suggested by the June promise to release a model for the Asian market for $499.
This unique device is an Android-smartphone equipped with a full 14-megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom, able to record HD-video. Altek Leo has a 3.2-inch multitouch WVGA-screen, works under OS Android 2.1, supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and is designed for GSM / GPRS / EDGE networks , as well as for 3G/HSPA.
